My son is at MCAS Cherry Point so we have been out there a bunch of times. Stop in Havlock and have a Crabby Patty for me. LOL If you need any suggestions on what to do or where to eat let me know.

if you have some time take a ride a little further down the road to Harkers Island and catch Capt Jack's boat over to Cape Lookout lighthouse and seashore. It is one of the last unspoiled beaches on the east coast that is mostly only accessible by boat. The trip out to Cape Lookout takes you by Radio Island where if you catch the right time of day you can see the wild horses. Truly worth the 45 min ride from Morehead City, but if not, be sure to hit the Sanitary Fishmarket on the water @ Morehead City or the Channel Marker Resturant on your way over the bridge. Enjoy !!!!!

Hey Larry & Patsy if your still around and need anything give me a call at 252-670-3355. I live just a couple miles from the KOA. I enjoy your post and travels and congrats on the runner up at Charlotte. By the way those Spanish looked awful small next to Larry.
