Also has a 69 grill in it & can't make out if it has the 68 rear marker lights filled in but looks like it. Mods must been done to appease Ma Mopar in keeping with the current model year.

Checking a previous rear shot from M68, Nope doesn't have the 68 markers. This was another tell tale detail of my old Landy Dart. He too converted it to a 69 by adding the trim, filling in the 68 markers, but never installed the 69 markers. You could see the filled holes from inside the trunk. A definate sign of a factory backed operation .
Strange note is the Peddler car had all the 68 details changed to 69 but left the 68 taillites in it.

I thought it wouldn't be this hard to get to day 1 of my car. You have no idea how frustrating it's been over the past 7 plus years. Mark J has been instrumental in helping me, but he does this as a side line, hobby only, & as such can only spend so much time doing it. His knowledge & memory constantly blows me away with these things.
The Manhatten car was a possibility awhile back, but as you know that car was a stick.
Basically there are just a few LO's that have slid into obscurity from the right coast area. Its probably easier to start with those rather than cross off the ones that are accounted for.
Mark J. has a list of these cars not accounted for. Mark do you care to post these missing links on this forum as I believe it would be a great help.?????
Just to throw a wrench into this above process, is, that we're assuming my car was on the east coast for a long duration of time, it doesn't mean mine was always there. As you know these things jumped around the country side , sometimes week by week.

ps I BELIEVE Mark has found the whereabouts of the Mary Ann Foss car.

Question Re: Original hemi dart information

I used to watch an Italian guy named John DeRosa run a red Hemi Dart at Budds Creek (MIR) in Maryland back in the early 70's. I believe he bought the car new and was the original owner. He was from Hyattsville Md. He wasnt a well know racer and the car was usually slower than most but it was a real Hemi Dart with an automatic. He had a 63 Max Wedge and it was slow also....LOL. It was called "DeRosa's Dodge". I just happen to see his name on the list of Darts posted earlier. I havent seen it since the middle 70's. Does anyone know where it is today or is it possable your car could be this one?

It was on eBay in Minnesota a few years back. It had been tubbed, painted solid red, no lettering.

Johnny DeRosa is still around in MD - I spoke with him a few years ago about his Hemi Dart. The Barracuda is supposed to be Tom Myl's old car. The other Barracuda question has been answered. I wonder if Bill Flynn had a second car - this could eqplain the red & silver on your Dart Daryl. The Mary Ann Foss car is still MIA (I think I know what car it is but the people who could tell me have passed away. Yes, I have spoken to Mary Ann, her brother Pete Jr and son - no one has any idea what happened to it. I do not have any information on the Manhatten Speed Dart (other than it existed) - don't even know if it was a factory built car .
