Dump and water?
Hi. Is there a book or something that tells you were you can find RV dumps and potable water around the US?
Thanks M.Lind D/SA |

Re: Dump and water?
I don't worry about that anymore. As I'm leaving the track I dump in the pit space of the guy who beat me! No problem. Jim

Re: Dump and water?
Not sure about water, but this has dump station info by state:
http://www.sanidumps.com/maps/help.php Seems similar to gasbuddy.com which has users provide the details. Clark |

Re: Dump and water?
Sanidumps is what we have used. Also depending on what state. It seems that most rest stops in Kansas have a dump station and non-potable water. It will show a camper on a sign prior to the exit. Not sure how much this helps but it is a pain.
Search the RV forums it does seem like I had seen a book that was available. Sean

Re: Dump and water?
We use Flying J Truck stops alot. Most campgrounds will let you dump for a nominal fee as well.

Re: Dump and water?
I got my hand on a book called The Next Exit today, it looks really good! shows all exits and what you can find there, and also have info on dump places and if there is space for entering with a RV, does not however have any info on potable water.
When i traveled from Topeka to Indy and up to Earlville last year i found several dump places but had a hard time finding potable water so that info would be good to have, but as someone said on here you could find that at most campsites. Thanks M.Lind D/SA |
