Edelbrock BB pro flow 2 efi?
Iam looking at a 1984 chevy 3+3 dually with a 454 thats in real good shape for a decent price. I believe it has a holley carb on it now. I was wondering how much of an improvement in power and mileage I could get with the edelbrock pro flow system over the carb. Or would there be a increase in mileage if a put a Q-jet on it instead and how much? Thanks for the info.

I got a little better mileage with a Quad over factory TBI . Holley carbs can give good mileage as well so I wouldn't change just because. If your towing an enclosed trailer on fairly flat land 10 Mpg if you keep your foot out of it . ---Trevor

Eric
The problem with the dually is the gearing which spins that 454 about 3000 RPM so no matter what carb you run fuel mileage is going to suffer. On the plus side they do an excellent and stable job of towing a trailer
