Hmmmm, good question. Have not put a gage on "spare" trans because of no problems. All books and literature shows 145-170 is good number.

Is your pressure gauge mounted in the car or is it a diagnostic type for stationary pressure diagnosis?

Trans guy says no although I'm glad you asked that. Well seasoned Super Stock racer in my area asked the same question. He said "I'll bet it high gear clutches or clearance issue."
