Re: New Horse Power Ratings
My definition of a pig is someone who runs a combo that is 50 to 75 hp soft and writes a letter to get more hp taken off. You don't have a fast car, you haven't accomplished anything, all you have is a car in the wrong class.

Re: New Horse Power Ratings
Greg you are telling me that my 281CI motor combo in SS should be rated at 285HP in SS. Come on Greg my combo in SS is NOT light on HP.
Wrong class by whose definition ? Yours Greg you can still run over 1.00 under so I also feel your combo is also underrated. I just play by the same rules you play by and you are just mad because I played it better. You guys should not get STK and SS factors mixed up, it makes you all look like idiots. Just for the record I never asked for HP off my STK combo. Chuck D the PIG

Re: New Horse Power Ratings
I'm suprised they would take hp off an engine with only one car making a few runs. How do they know he wasn't sand bagging? Or that is was even a ligit SS car (it wasn't)?
I would assume they would want data from multiple cars to do something like that. It gets stranger and stranger.

Re: New Horse Power Ratings
Ed how is my car not a ligit SS car? Is it illegal for SS?
How do you know what motor or cylinder heads are on my car? Holbrook did build me a set of SS heads THAT WERE ON MY CAR AT NORWALK. They made 37 more hp then my STK set and take 2 hours change. How do you know if anyone is sand bagging? NHRA droped my HP rating for SS because of the data they had. Why can't you ***** clowns figure that out. Is it really that hard? There is a two page sheet on NHRA.com on how HP is take off and added. If you take the time to look at it, it's very clear why my combo got 1.25% reduction.

Re: New Horse Power Ratings
If you guys think this is such a soft, easy, but fast combo you should build one ... then you can go a second or more under and get HP put back on it ...
