I actually understand the hp system in place and took full advantage of it. Unlike some of you on here that can’t seem to figure it out. Sorry that I play the game better than most of you. I went to the Norwalk Nationals and made three runs at -.23, -.27 and -30 under. According to NHRA rules for HP reduction this combo qualifies for a 1.25% reduction. Case closed.
If you guys are unhappy about the J/S combo just wait until INDY. Thanks to Brian Wolf’s spare stocker motor you guys in B/S, C/S and D/S will now have something to really cry about.
Tom I was 400# heavy for E/FI at martin just ask jim woods.
Larry very good detective work I wrote the letter June 3.
Greg I live on a farm but no pigs for us. I think what you are trying to say is I'am winning.

Just fun facts our fastest time for the 281 combo is 10.84 @ 126.5 MPH a little heavy for K/S

Charly well played, winning is everything!

The combo was reduced 1.25% not 3%.

Fastest run at Norwalk second round 10.900@ 121. +

-.35 under index of 11.25

Man its a good thing you don't dirt track, them guys don't get mad they get even.

How many of you guys have to run Charley heads up? I think it's one of those deals that he picked a combo and he knew it would be fast. If he gets that thing to sixty foot it should be 1.90 under. If I have to run him in the combo for class I'm screwed. My junk can only go 1.40. Hell I was pissed when I saw it but it's that system not the man. Good luck to everyone see you in Indy.

What class are you planning to run? All of them at once? Charley played the game right and he was rewarded. If guys are willing to do the homework, and sacrifice fast runs to get extra power back more power to them. Then good for them. Guys that have to race them in class or HU durring the eliminator , have to play the game as well. If you have to race them set your stuff up to be the best you can. If you can go close to the mark, run it right there and make the guy break the mark to beat you. Its that simple, if you want to make his life miserable get money together and make him take a pistion and rod out everywhere he goes. Maybe you can get lucky and find an oversite and get him bounced, and not have to race against him.
Our racing is about advantages and disadvantages, about finding the best combo and playing the rules and procedures to you advantages. Thats what he did, and we shouldnt be mad about it. Just try to work to defeat these guys on the track one way or another. By all means. Thats what our game has been about for the last 50 or so years

If you guys are unhappy about the J/S combo just wait until INDY. Thanks to Brian Wolf’s spare stocker motor you guys in B/S, C/S and D/S will now have something to really cry about.

Me either....I hope ALL of the new combos go at least 1.50+ under at Indy. "Rotsa Ruck"

So guys, how is that 3 HP off going to make you feel when you're #129 qualifier at Indy and you don't get to play and he does?

Amen Sister...had hoped they would all have more hits by this time and some honest correction done at the mid-year, at this rate it will take a -1.00 under to even get in the 128 for Indy, which leaves my heap sitting at home again this year. Best I could possibly run in the "land of no barometer" is .90 under (with a real good tail wind).

Larry I'am running in STK at INDY so the 3hp off the SS combo will not hurt anyone in STK. -.82 will get you in at INDY in STK.
Todd I hope someone puts up the money soon I'am poor. B/S at Indy Todd
