I'm not sure which one this song's about , but I passed through here a few years ago in northern New Mexico
Rose Dunn was romantically involved with George "Bittercreek" Newcomb, who ran with fellow outlaw Bill Doolin's Wild Bunch gang. In 1893, the gang was caught in a gunfight with US Marshals in Ingalls, Oklahoma. Newcomb survived, but was later killed by the Dunn Brothers, outlaws-turned-bounty hunters who also happened to be Rose's brothers. Rose was accused of tipping them off to the gang's movements, a claim she and her brothers denied.

With the WIDE variety of great music you post on here, your comment above doesn’t fit very well. Hey whatever, keep posting all the great tunes Mark.

Thanks, dude...I think ;-)

For the record, some of the groups I've played here have been dismissed by others who don't get them..
By now most figured out I'm not a zz fan...I don't get the style, the choreography thing, plus I've seen Gibbons interviews with the street rod folks, and the dude is just plain weird!

The only other group that chafes me as much is that Australian group where the guitar guy wears little school boy knickers :-(

Only one more possibility for a more annoying group..That would be Robin Williams, Jim Carrey, and Seinfeld...
And if that didn't whiz off a few, see my next post .;-)

Back about a half century ago, before they invented that vile "Classic Rock" formula, the alternative, free form, underground stations would mix in comedy bits with the commercial free music. Firesign Theatre, Martin Mull come to mind...

Where are we going with this ?
Last night at the hot spring, I actuallly met a couple from El Monte..Of course that reminded me of this bit .
These guys very popular in the good ol' days }

Technically not a three piece band, but even if they were , Felix Pappalardi would know how to do it, seeing he produced Cream

While making our rounds on a Saturday night back a long time ago, we stopped in a place call Barnaby`s, on the University of Bridgeport campus. The place was empty, I mean 10 people including staff. We asked who the band was, bartender said Mountain. We said naw, but we stayed. Our table was 5 feet from Leslie West. No Felix at that time. No keyboard either. Corky, Leslie and the bass player.
