NWCR 2023 Rules
-------------------------
1. NHRA Stock and Super Stock rules in force except as noted below.
2. Qualifying based on reaction time.
3. Sportsman Ladder.
4. Combo format: Stock and Super Stock run together.
5. Lane choice determined by driver agreement or coin toss.
6. No heads up runs except by mutual agreement.
7. All entries must dial class index or below.
8. Courtesy staging must be followed.
9. Number of qualifying runs determined by track schedule.
10. Tru-Start in effect where available.
11. Any car unable to make a time trial will be placed on the bottom of the ladder.
12. Broke car: any driver that wins a round but breaks will not be able to continue to the next round with a different car.
13. If you break before eliminations, half of your entry fee is refunded; the rest goes into the race purse.
14. Random spot check of car weights may be performed where scales are available.
15. Entry and payouts are CASH only. Pay before first time run. Posted payouts are GUARANTEED.

Entry Fees

Entry Fee: $150/race plus track gate fee. Payouts will be based on car count. All fees payable in US dollars.

Payouts
----------
16 cars or less, $1,000 win, $600 r/u, semi $250.
17-20 cars, $1200 win, $700 r/u, semi $400, round 3 loser $200.
21-24 cars, $1400 win, $800 r/u, semi $500, round 3 loser $200.
25-32 cars, $1500 win, $1000 r/u, semi $500, round 3 loser $200.
33 cars or more, $1750 win, $1250 r/u, semi $500, rd 4 loser $400, rd 3 loser $250.

Member Fee
------------------
The fee to join NWCR is $150. The fee is used to guarantee the purse. 2 T-shirts are included with each membership. It is not required to join NWCR to race, but the winner and runner-up payouts are reduced by $300 and $150 respectively for non-members. In 2022 several racers did NOT join and it cost them when they won. Pay at the races or mail a check payable in US dollars to “Northwest Class Racers” to our PO Box. Please include your email address so we can send you a confirmation notice.

Canadian Border Crossing

1. ID required: valid Passport or current US state enhanced drivers license.
2. Proof of Covid vaccination NOT required.
3. Do NOT bring any fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, or other farm produce to Canada.
4. No guns.
