This weekend, the Canadian Street Car Nationals return to Cayuga Dragway, and on the 25th the Can - Am series will race as a part of this hugely popular event. Joe and everyone at Da Silva Racing have continued to grow this race into the premier event that it is today. This year a special bonus has been put up for grabs as a part of the Can - Am race............................

This weekend keeps on growing, and this year looks to be the biggest one yet! The Can - Am Stock / Super Stock series is set to bring two days of premier class racing to Cayuga as a part of the Labour Day weekend. Many questions have been making the rounds on the internet forums as the " Canadian Big Go " gets closer to happening..................
Will the field top 50 cars?
Will a Stocker finally show the "button racers" that the foot brake rules?
Will we see the return of the "race track cul-de-sac" pit parking?
Can Lightning McQueen be victorious? Or will it be Francesco who " always wins"?

What is for sure for the weekend is that the much anticipated and loved series dinner, sponsored by Drumbo Tent (JR and Monica Taylor) and Karbelt Speed and Custom (Kevin Dundas), is happening Sat after the races. There will be many prizes and extra awards provided by our generous series sponsors, and Fred has promised a captivating and entertaining floor show to take place after dinner. That, or several hours of golf cart sitting and bench seat, 4 speed, Q Jet, bias ply tire racing tales will be shared

We look forward to seeing all of our members as well as many many new friends at the track for our biggest race of the season!
