In the city of N.Y., you get let out with no bond so that you can do it again! Or just murder your accuser.

Might I suggest that the Dem party of today is vastly different from the days of Kennedy and even Clinton. Might I also suggest you look at what the Dems stand for, advocate for and what their vision for America really is. I may be wrong, but I have a hard time believing you have a good understanding of who's running the show and what this country will look like next summer if Joe wins and his handlers are running the show.
I do not support the "radical left" as in AOC and the Green New Deal. I am a moderately liberal Denocrat and so is Biden which is why I strongly support him.

Now Bill, I have a question for you!
I believe that I'm responsible enough and smart enough to accept responsibility for my own actions. I don't feel the need to "shelter-in-place" and I feel that this whole covid thing is being used as a political tool. Can I go Racing now?
You have your belief and I have mine and they both have potentially life-threatening consequences!

You guys always love to bring up rape and incest, that percentage is so minute it doesn't even come into the equation. So if life begins at birth why do you have do physically kill it or poison it if it's not alive?

Now Bill, If I remember , you were one of the few preaching for maximum caution, a few months ago..Stay home .Wear your masks everywhere...DON'T bring the virus home to your loved ones, etc. Fast forward to July, when some wishy washy governor four states away gives an okay, off you go to the races..What makes YOU so sure it was the right thing to do, all of a sudden? Why can't the state of Colorado exhibit the same precautions? That's the point of this thread, and probably why a few un-named folks here got called out.
Anybody else see a bunch of liberal hypocrisy here?
My wife and I wore masks everywhere on the trip to Ohio, at the track, and on the way back to CT. We stayed at a Candlewood Suites which had a full kitchen, so we cooked in our room instead of going to a restaurant. I brought hand sanitizing wipes to use in the room on high contact surfaces. As you can see, I still believe in caution; and when I go to Indy in Sept., assuming there will be Indy in Sept., I will use the same common sense caution.

So Mr. Sarvas, you use the word threaten. So if I say you are skating on thin ice you would feel threatened? I don't have a problem with members having a different view than mine. My problem is when a member mentions cnn as a source. If you want to debate use logic, not emotion. People die of many things, should we just stop living because of hardships that all people face.

I dont believe masks doing anything, and if you believe they do, why can't we open everything up. This is a all political to bring down the president. That's my opinion, if you feel im wrong, explain in a logical way why you feel differently. Be careful, I still may boot you...lol.

I hate this $#!&. I hate that regardless the subject or the activity, political BS gets in the way. And make no mistake, this virus crap, the riots - 100% political at this point. Restrictions and shutdown for a month or two - maybe justified. We were all kind of afraid of the unknown, but the experts used numbers like 1,000,000 dead to scare us. And nearly 6 months later, we still aren't really open in any real way, despite what "they" say.

Forums should be focused on the subject of interest in the title at the top of the page. Politics and religion should be saved for places where those are the main topics. But it's become impossible when government and politics have been allowed or forced into every part of everyone's day, regardless what you are doing. You can't go to the store for a loaf of bread without having to deal with crap some politician decided you should have to deal with.

I miss the days when you could load up your junk, drive to the track and not worry about being accosted by DOT cops. Not worry about the EPA outlawing your late model race car. Not have to worry that the next great idea will make it impossible to do something you've enjoyed for years without committing a felony. Not have to worry about every tiny little piece of BS that the government has come up with in order to solve a problem that they made up. The days when you could just focus on work and the car and going racing and you took for granted politics would just work itself out without tearing the country to pieces. Businesses are falling by the wayside, activities are being cancelled, no one knows what the future will be and we are about at the "eff it 'till next year" point.

It's become a huge dumpster fire. There is a huge culture war that has been going on and is about to get hot and unless your name is Trump, Obama, Soros, Bloomberg, Pelosi, Schumer, or a few others, you're just a peon stuck in the middle and suffering the consequences. The Constitution is toilet paper, the free press is propaganda, history is being eliminated, America is the devil and the Governor of New Jersey doesn't give a damn about the Bill of Rights, but at least he admits it, which is more than most will do.

I blame both sides. One for becoming radicalized and pushing it, the other for allowing it. The faux Conservatives owned it all for 2 years, Trump was ready to sign whatever they passed to fix all of the bad stuff, and they screwed around, made excuses and in the end, did very little.

I'm not really interested in rioting, burning, looting, throwing bricks at cops, so that leaves me wondering which activities, I might actually prefer to participate in, will survive and be allowed for the rest of this year and into the future. I'm ready for this year to be a bad memory, go to PRI without hearing the words "mask" or "social distancing" and work in the shop without having to wonder if there will actually be a racetrack to go to. Without wondering if a bunch of a-holes and their pals at city hall will get their wish and start another civil war. And maybe going to the track again next year without caring whether the other people there are Democrats or Republicans.

Still have not heard from any dems on here why Bandimere is closed while other venues are open. Your democratic leaders have the answers. Maybe you can let us all know in on why.
