Doug Nash 5 speed and Long Shifter and clutch parts
Doug Nash 5 speed with a 3.09, first gear and 1 to 1, fifth gear. It is a fresh pro-shifted unit. It will fit behind Chevy motors even though it has an 18 spline input shaft. Price for trans is $1000.00
Long Shifter for this trans. It is a pistol grip inline shifter with rod ends for the linkage. Price for shifter is $500 Mark Williams yoke for drive shaft for this trans with a 30 spline output. Cost is $100. Two Ram aluminum flywheels and pressure plates and clutches for sale also. One set needs to be freshened and the other can be put back in car as it only has about 10 runs on it. To send it back to Ram will cost maybe $200 to get everything back to new. The pressure plate is adjustable from 1900lbs to 2400lbs and the clutch is a metallic six puck disk. I will verify the pressure plates if someone is interested. Cost is $700 for all of these clutch parts and flywheels. Will sell separate but will also make a deal if someone buys it all. Please contact me at kgs3791@juno.com Thanks, Ken Last edited by vegaken; 10-16-2010 at 05:35 PM. Reason: forgot to add the price for the clutch parts. |

Could you run a set-up like that in a street car?

I did years ago with another pro shifted trans. Not this one. It can be done but you have to be careful or you will chew the trans up quickly.

Re: Doug Nash 5 speed and Long Shifter and clutch parts
Can you send me the input shaft length. Also, who did the freshening, and what are the rest of the ratios?
