Go to NHRA racer and click on contingency it will take you to the list of companies and what their requirements are. Have been going through this for the Charlotte win. Some email you about three weeks later of what they want and others you have to contact. It’s not even close to what it used to be .

I would like to say a big Thank You to all of the contingency sponsors on my car for paying me every dime owed from the Gator National.

Hope you continue to sponsor us in 2022.

Thanks

Divisional contingency is pretty light these days. .....Nationals too, but not quite as much as Divisional races.
I am down to 12 Division stickers and only 25 National . once
I don't blame the manufacturers ,They are getting beat up by the economy and by NHRA .
I made more for my R/U at the '96 Virginia Nats than I did for my Win at the same race in '19 !
But I did get paid by all of the manufacturers on my tech sheet .

Was RU at Milan IHRA nationals way back in 1978. When we still raced with square wheels. RU paid $6000

I'm not sure where you found that, but I just went on the 2022 Lucas Oil even contingency list and counted 49 different products at 100.00 per decal. I qualifying for 17 of them, and Ford pays 300.00.
So that's 1900.00 for me I would be eligible for.

NHRAracer.com. Left of page at very bottom, Camping world link. Then once you click link it takes you to another click link Class racing at LODRS. Shows $900 total but one of them is Ford and another is a COPO. Then you also have Sunoco and VP so can't claim both off them.

Ken: Could we have a permanent contingency section where where all vendors can post their contingency and where we can post our support comments? There are many contingency sponsors independent of NHRA that pay but are not always "on the sheet". Some manufactures also used to pay if you had their decal but didn't require all the additional need of proof of purchase of product and/or pre-signing up on their website. A list of those would be great too.
One place for one stop shopping for racers and vendors on CR would be nice. Thanks and happy holidays!
