Chris, wasn't much of a Rory fan. I think his voice or something....heck of a guitar player. I liked this guy, he's kind of similar ..

Another great. Played acoustic sets well be fore it was in style.
Turned down the stones and stayed solo. Thank goodness.
Always did it his way. R.I.P. Rory.

Good morning Jeff. Kim Simmons’s a heck of a player. Jim Suhler told me to check him out. Some real great stuff. The 60s-70s tho such a tumultuous time provided such an array of amazing musicians. My fav era. I caught the end of it thankfully and saw many.

I first saw Jim at a Rory tribute sponsored by Eagle Rock at Club Iridium some 12 years ago. I was hooked. Met him 5 years ago. Super cool guy with great stories. I have been a huge fan since seeing him a couple times in Dallas with his band monkey beat and in New York w thorogood.
He always comes out to chat after the show from what I’ve seen.

There is a fantastic documentary released on Linda last year.
I highly recommend it.

Thanks for the inspiration ,Jeff

The song opens with a riff by Richards which echoes throughout the rest of the song. Drummer Charlie Watts and Bill Wyman keep affected jazz beats. Song contributor Ray Cooper provides the song's distinctive driving percussions, including tambourine, maracas and a knocking beat that carries through the entire song like the sound of a ticking clock. Wyman also contributes an early use of synthesizer on a Stones track. Stones recording veteran Nicky Hopkins provides the song's swirling piano runs.

The song's most noteworthy elements, however, are Mick Taylor's extended guitar solo and Jagger's lyrics.
This one features about the longest out-tro of any stones record..

Take it home, Mick Taylor and Nicky Hopkins...

I knew the enforcer would let Chris know. It's good to have you down here contributing Chris, but Marks request make for equal playing time.
