I think Bob has been retired from racing for a few years.I could be wrong, but i really doubt if he comes out of retirement to run the US nationals.

Charlie, take a look at your time slip from Belle Rose when you ran Bob Shaw in the CIC race. Remember I said to you at the time " that's nothing, look at his MPH, it's the same as what I run, and I'm going 14.50's". There is a whole lot more in that car than you think. Don't be going crazy on me and be bettin a hun, youd be loosen a hun.
Ron Ortiz U/SA I saw his et & mph on the scoreboard before I crossed the finish line.

A funny story (to me) that Bob told me one time was that he would get just past the 660' and set his cruise control for eliminations.

I hate to say this but if Bob did show up with the Caddy I think that he would get his clock cleaned. Sorry guys but I've got to go with the 350 Chevy at 165 hp over the 350 Olds/Caddy at 186 hp.

Wow, really Billy. Heard from a little birdie that Shaw has gone 12.60. And you're saying the truck is faster. Wow.

Re: #1 Qualifier In Stock At The US Nats.
Quite a few years. LOL He told me that it was his last year in 1998. I was in with 1.30 under we ran each other during the only car trophy run. and he went 1.47 under. So he took 1st. (better him than me). LOL

Im with Charlie I dont think anyone can run with the truck, a really well prepped one
should go a square 2 seconds under without breathing hard.
