Bob ---Best way to do this if you have access to a lathe is ---measure the diameter of the hole and add about 1/2 inch to that measurement--then turn a small piece of aluminum stock about 1 1/2 inch long to the inside hole dimension leaving some extra material also about 1/2 inch on one end --this larger end will be the top of the plug--the thinner part is going to go into the hole the larger part is going to sit on the top of the block and the hold down is going to rest on this collar---you can use a stock distributor gasket to prevent leaking OR machine 2 groves in the plug you just made and install or-rings to keep the plug from leaking--should not take more than 15-20 minutes to do it this way---Cheap and easy -- otherwise you are going to spend $$$ to buy a plug from Moros or somebody that includes the oil pump drive which you don't need cuz of the external oil pump drive ---FED 387

If you want to get a MSD one its a MSD #8512 --- my plug idea" Will work" as long as you are not using a Dart Little M block or any block that oils from the front to the back-if you have a front to back oil system and/or an internal oil pump then you will need to use the MSD plug for the proper oiling--FED 387
