I have used both inline and under the carb stops.
The inline I used with a ron's methanol fuel injection and it worked well in hot weather However in the fall when temps dropped in the 60's it was not consistent and not predictable. ( the F.I. Was too fat on the stop) If you use this type of stop you absolutely must have a solid pedal stop. The #1 stop under carb stop with a Quick Fuel gas throttle stop carb was the easiest to set up and dial in. I also think it's safer as it is independent of the throttle linkage. The only thing I don't like about this set up is that racing gas is much more expensive than methanol. I cannot afford a Maxx Speed carb/stop but I would like to try one. ![]()
