Tried to installed new front cover, cam basket would not allow cover to seat against block. Going to machine cover for clearance, sounds easy. Just need to figure distance between cam and crank center line. Set mill up with riser blocks, 90* fence, remove front seal to pick up crank center line. Install bore head, fab tool, cut case 5.062 OD X 4.625 ID .060 deep on cam center-line. Piece of cake!

Reused old cover after inspection and cleaning with new seal. The block, heads, and water pump were holding 45# pressure for 30 minutes when I quit last night. Time to see if it leaked any last night, I'm crossing my fingers.
