NHRA knew that there was weather coming, they could've had just the finals set for Sunday, but they cancelled one round scheduled for Saturday. Then there was drizzling on Sunday mid day which held up the program, then right after sportsman race at around 3 pm, it started to rain hard. Kind of poor planning on NHRA's part, could have at least got Lucas oil participants done.

Did you get a real choice to attend the Houston National race or was that the only dates that would work for Brenda and Bill? Of course you already know they are good folks and many of us consider them D2 racers still so it will be hard to decide who to root for....
