Default Re: 12 Bolt Pinion seal leak

Just use Ultra Grey in the well around the pinion nut. No leaks from the splines, and the nut will never ever move. no fuss...no muss...no leaks from the splines...no staking the pinion nut...and you can reuse the nut over and over. We are now on the 20th year on the nut, never a leak from the pinion splines, and never a loose pinion.

Warning!!! Don't expect to put Ultra Grey on and race immediately, you will have a mess. Let it set up over night before use. Also, it will take a few minutes to get the Ultra Grey off and remove the pinion nut. However, a wire wheel on a drill will clean the nut, washer, and yoke right up.
