CF/S (at D wt.) here we come!
Well, I had a "Frankenstein" torque converter built for the Cavalier. I didn't want to go for a "full race" converter because I want to be able to hook this thing up. I reached out to a converter rebuilder that I've done business with before (with good results) and he mixed-and-matched a pump, cover and a modified stator from different stock applications that should be good for "at least" 600-800 more stall speed than I have with my "turbo Sunbird" converter. If this all works out as planned, I should have about a 3400-3500 stall speed which should pick the Cav up a bunch and still let me hook it up.
