Where the LO23 and BO29 engines painted Street Hemi Orange or the lighter Race Hemi Orange originally?

Dave
I believe the 64,65 cars were race orange, & the 68 cars were street orange.

I'm going to repost this decal picture again, in hopes of someone that'll respond.
My current plan to this search is to locate the track in the NED that actually held this particular championship. The location is probably in an old National Dragster, Popular Hot Rodding, Hot Rod magazine,etc,etc.. There could be a picture, or even a name attached to the driver of this 68 Hemi Dart. Not sure but don't think there were alot of these cars that competed in a bracket race back then with hemi's still in them. I know this one did, because the original K member was still in the car when Hennessey purchased it in 85.
I would REALLY appreciate if someone could have a look at their old collections from 1977

Yeah it would be nice if someone could look through their old National Dragsters and spot a old photo or find some additional info about the car...maybe repost that pic in the regular forums and ask if anyone remembers seeing this car racing in division 1, (a NED 1 thread)...also I was thinking isn't Bob Fry from that division, he's a walking dictionary, it's a worth a shot.

Thanx Dave
No, I haven't till tonite. Didn't have any success finding the locator.
I did get a PM tonite saying that the Bracket Nationals were held in York US 30 that year. I've started searching/ google, but so far no luck on that meet. I'm still thinking a National Dragster is going to be a good source. Back to google

A couple more pix. Sorry the quality on some of these is not the best

ebay ad quote - A big race report on the Super Stock nationals at York US 30 PA. Gary Burgin was the funny car winner, Bruce Pillar in his Jersey Stud BB/FC won that title. There was Pro Stock, a match race with Garlits vs Snake's FC, modified, brackets & more. Ed Aigner wrote a spectator's view article on the race.
Liteweight, do you have this SS&DI issue...there's an article on the race and the author might have some additional info or have some old photos of this event.
