back to the division 1 stuff, on nhra website there is a division track locator (member track locater) that includes a lot of tracks that were in business back then. but knowing you , you probably have done this already.

No, I haven't till tonite. Didn't have any success finding the locator.
I did get a PM tonite saying that the Bracket Nationals were held in York US 30 that year. I've started searching/ google, but so far no luck on that meet. I'm still thinking a National Dragster is going to be a good source. Back to google

ebay ad quote - A big race report on the Super Stock nationals at York US 30 PA. Gary Burgin was the funny car winner, Bruce Pillar in his Jersey Stud BB/FC won that title. There was Pro Stock, a match race with Garlits vs Snake's FC, modified, brackets & more. Ed Aigner wrote a spectator's view article on the race.

Liteweight, do you have this SS&DI issue...there's an article on the race and the author might have some additional info or have some old photos of this event.
