General regulations require it be welded. Whoever replied to your email must have only looked in the "Stock" section of the rule. I got caught on it is how I know. I got mine from Summit and don't think it moved the wheel at all.

If that is the actual case and was called on it I would just go with the swing-out bar myself...makes all the difference in the world getting in and out of many of these cars. Those high side bolsters on the aluminum seats compound the problem.

Been a rough week at work so far and I haven't gotten anything done. Autumn has been running parts around after school and I finally got in the shop for a couple hours today. Made the last ground strap, the starter cable, and it actually turned over for a second so that works. Started working on the brake pressure gauge so I can get the last flex hose made this week to button up the brake system.
