Time trials for S/SS will start at 9AM for the Oahe Speedway races Sat and Sun. Some of the flyers are stating 10 AM, that is incorrect!
Gates will be open all night Friday night for parking. Test and Tune, $30 starting at 4 PM Friday the 25th. #5457 Curt Rees

The tenative payouts are UP at the Oahe Speedway web site. If you win 1st round in the Aaron Koppien Memorial race on Saturday, you are going to get money.
Based on a 32 car field, the winner Sat will get $1600, runner up $800. The payouts start 2nd round and will be prorated depending on final car count. Based on a 30 car field on Sun, the winner will get $1632, the runner up, $816. The payouts start with the quarter finals. The more cars, the BETTER the payout will be! Can we get 50? #5457 Curt Rees

45 cars went down the track for the Aaron Koppien S/SS Memorial race. Rick Ryan with his Olds SS/NA was low qualafier at 11:24, 1.44 under. Larry DeForrest with his '98 Firebird SS/HA had low E.T at 9:92.
Two records were set, Monty Jones with his '86 Camaro G/SA at 10:90 and Mike Jeffery with his '80 Dodge Diplomat V/SA at 14:52. Rick Ryan was the winner over Brett Speer and his A/SA '70 Nova. Rick picked up $1600 and Brett $800. Payouts started 2nd round, a tradition with the Aaron Koppien S/SS Memorial race. More racing on Sunday with the NHRA National Open S/SS Combo.
