Default Re: Air vs. Electric #1 stop?

Electric is fine in a heavier/lower powered setup. Air allows you to not unload the chassis when the stop closes or spin when it opens up. Gary Heuer did the first air stop for me back in 91. I'd run SC at Memphis and had a spin issue when the stop opened right as it was near a bump on the track. We came home with a CO2 bottle, regulator, and the rest is history as we changed from electric to air. If you have questions just call Gary direct at 319-277-5290. He's a wealth of information. Tell him I sent you.
