He might be looking for "ancient" combos like the blown 312 Fords, etc.

Overall though, I'd say it would have to the GM 1993 LT1 ,which is now + 71 HP over what it entered the books at.

I would value the opinions of the four "gurus" of Stock - Mark Yac, Neil Smedley, Bob Shaw and Billy Nees. We've heard from Mark. I await hearing from the others. I know this much, my combo is definitely NOT the best - '86 305 165/249.
