Are you sure they won't let you leave the stop in place with it disconnected? For running non-Electronics at NHRA National Opens and Summit ET series, I have an email from our division tech director confirming that it is okay to leave my Dedenbear on the car as long as the electrical wires are disconnected from it. That said, I have a Super-sucker on order to try and get my car closer to the 9.00 minimum for the ET finals (and I normally race 1/8-mile so I've got minimal 1/4-mile data anyway).

michael, what i have done so far was make a electronics panel, that has my delay box and trans brake timer on it and installed weather pack connectors on all the boxes so i can easily remove them, the panel is also just mounted with dzus fastners,at or points meet at trails i talked with tech, and he said that i must remove all the electronics and even the stop off the intake...is it possible you can scan the letter you recieved and email it to me?? cause what i can do is leave it alone and just take the letter and my new spacer which cost 169 bucks and if i dont have to use it i will send it back...the rules are so vague that they tend to not explain the details, and i plan on testing next week to figure out my shift point to get down to 10.0...and i hate to change everything then have to go from square 1 on time trails...but thanks for you help...my email is seszko3@aol.com
thanks again
