I have towed my 24 ft trailer with a 1998 Expedition (5.4 engine) a zillion miles to many tracks east of the Mississippi. (and KCIR a few times) 8,000 pounds loaded? Good cam style equalizer bars. Prodigy brake controller. A prayer once in a while. Not proud of it, just cautious.
