HM
Sam had I think 3 different Cudas all at different times. He sold the first to me, and then purchased Ed Hamberger's Duster. That didn't last long, too slow and too hard to keep running on the mark. After that I think he got Landy's Charger.Sometime around that, he bought another Cuda from Allentown Pa.. It was yellow and black,The owners were the Wheatley Bros. He ran SS/AA Around that time had my hands full with work and my car, lost connection with Sam. Pictured car could be #3 or #2 repainted. Sorry not known who purchesed any of these from Sam. Sam relocated from Md., and havent seen him in a few years. I know a close frend of his, will aks him if he can get any history I may wrong about Duster, Charger it may have been the outher way around. All this took place some 40 years ago, so it's the best I can remember, facts may be off a little. One thing for sure Sam Pannuty was a first class act. His equiptment took second to none when it came to looks during those years |

I went to Capitol and was there almost every weekend from 75 to 79. So I saw Sam in that car making a lot of passes.
And I saw a lot of cars with Mr. Arnew's name on the fender... Here's the story on this Cuda - Sam traded for the Cuda according to this. http://www.moparmusclemagazine.com/m...ger/index.html Quote:

Ray Christian
Columbus, Ohio Car picked up at George Byers Son, Chrysler-Plymouth, Columbus, Ohio. 1968 photo,,,,,, An original 4-speed,,,,,,,until Ray blew apart the internals of the transmission. Then, converted to an automatic. Very 'plain jane' lettering,,,,,,,,,,,,,,that keep it simple look... Last edited by Paul Ceasrine; 09-12-2011 at 04:23 PM. |

On the Mr. Norm's Grand -Spaulding Dodge cars,,,,,,,,,, Here is what I got,,,,,,,,,,, Myth, mystery or misconception. Dealer Cost for an LO23 Hemi Dart,,,,,,,$4208 From what I have come up with,,,,,,,,Mr. Norm ordered (13) #LO23 Hemi Darts, and sent a check to Chrysler for $50,000. Basically got a 10% discount,,,,,,or at a cost of $3876 per car. Saved himself $332 per car. Advertised them for $4995,,,,,,,,,,'Starting Price' |
