Yup, it's too bad it was the Mission Nat Open weekend. I was tempted to try to make it up for Mission on Sunday, but broke the car in Bremerton anyway. Either way it was a pretty decent payout for the entry fee!!! I jumped in my tow rig at the last minute and donated my entry fee and a buyback!

Michael,,,sorry about the Vega, but I admire how you carried on. I hurt the short block in my Nova a couple weeks before,, so I spent all day in the tower announcing. It was a fun event to witness. I've got to admit, that before eliminations began, I mentioned to the gals in the tower that I had 2 racers in mind who could win it all. One of them made it to the quarters, just out of the money, and the other was Jack, who's really been on a roll for the last year or so, including a Div.6 Pro Bracket title and a trip to Pomona last fall.
Not sure what the dates will be next year, but hopefully a little more favorable for more racers. Take care,, Danny Durham
