ladders for class..... a real cluster joke!
LADDERS for class.
You want to slow up the whole class elimination process.... just keep this rule around. It was a real cluster trying to get everyone away from their engine cooling machine and get them into line in time. (stockers today). It also took away alot of the normal 1st rd inrigue. I (for one) will vote against it AGAIN! ps.... as I stated weeks ago.... it did't stop any qualifying games..... NONE!

If they ran without them just one time it would get them away from their cooling machines at the next event. Dont wait for them.

I actually like the ladder. It may take longer, but it does help some of the B.S. get reduced.

X2. They are called to the lanes to race, give them a time limit for getting in the lanes and buckled in ready to run. If they don't make it too bad!

Re: ladders for class..... a real cluster joke!
That might work, if they did a better job of getting the call out. They often do a really bad job. The track radios are usually marginal at best, so are the PA systems, and they send one guy out riding a scooter, if you're not in the right place, you don't see him.
The next problem is they don't give you enough time between rounds about 1/2 the time. It is also very common for NHRA to change the schedule, more than once we've gone up for what is supposed to be a time trial, and it turns out to be the first round of class.
