Thanks Greg for pulling this together. What a great night. Met a ton of people and it was a lot of fun in explaing about the cars. I was surprised how many guys came over that were past drag racers back in the 60's and talked about their racing........that was pretty cool.
Great way to promote our sport, organization and help our sponsors. Not to mention we were part of the largest Cruise Night they've ever had.........2000 plus. Good Job...

Special Thanks to ASRA racers Don Fardie, Steve & Randy Broadbent, and Pat Aubin for displaying they're race cars at the Bass Pro-Shops Cruise night at Patriot Place in Foxboro tonight, to New England Dragway for offering $5.00 discount coupons to "Any Event" in 2012, and to the Mass Cruisers Car Club for allowing the Race car display there this evening
WXLO DJ "Crusin" Bruce Palmer handed the "mike" over to "the voice" of New England Dragway & BangShift.com owner Brian Lohnes to talk about the NHRA LODRS race at New England Dragway in July, the recent announcement of a NHRA National event at Epping in 2013, and the up-coming All Star Racing Associations events. Highlight of the evening was when all 3 racers fired they're engines! You couldn't get another person down display row. Like Don stated, there were over 2000+ cars there tonight! Next Cruise night featuring members of the ASRA will be Thursday July 12th, 2012 same time, same place Be There! |

Mark,
It's worth the trip, 5 minutes from 495, about 20 minutes from the Mass Pike. It was a nice night and a great show, all kinds of cars, you name it and it was there. The ASRA cars were a big hit, and they sounded great also. Looking forward to the next one. George |
