Jack, the only ahfs that is in effect for opens is the 1.20 under rule which gets the offender hp the next Monday. I for one would not go to Gainesville to that open and run 1.20 under and not expect to get hp. NHRA would have to not follow the rules to do that.

So what is the effect of NOT enforcing the AHFS? Are runs under 1.20 "flagged" for the semi-annual review?

The D2 notice said "No AHFS in effect during this event". This has been confirmed at least twice. That means no "HP on Monday" to me. It also means that at least a few Class Records will be 1.20 or more below the index.

My understanding is that the only runs with any problem are 1.20 under which will be hit on Monday. The other runs do not count as a trigger or in the averages for the semi-annual review. But the 1.20 under does count, but I will forward stuff to NHRA for for a clarification.

I sent it to NHRA via SRAC, which includes all divisions and some more, and to B. Bachelder, and a couple more for clarification. More later
