i spoke with smokey two years ago, he told me he had a 1964 aluminum car and my dads 65 a990 which he has no pictures of , just wondering if you new where any were . i would like to have some in its original form.

Here are some pictures I took while going to the Winternationals in Pomona. I grew up in La Verne, a small city just to the north of Pomona. I took alot of these pictures in 1984 and 1985 with my first camera I got when I was 17, so not the greatest quality.

I also didn't really know the history behind these cars at the time---all I knew is I loved watching these things go down the track, and it is these cars that got me into drag racing. I now drag race a 2006 Mustang GT with a 572 CID big block ford that turns 9.1Xs @ 149 on motor only. I would love to own a hemi dart or barracuda, but I would have to sell my house to own one.

























This Hemi Dart I took pictures of a few years later, I think around 1991 or so.

The Jenkins car was originally Shirly Shahans.

Selling the house is always an option, but most wives aren't much impressed with that thought.
Your Blue Oval sounds like a hoot.
