Question Re: Hurst Performance

I won the Nascar Winternationals in Daytona ( De land ) Fl. in 1968. I recieved a really nice letter and an unexpected generous contengency check from Hurst after I got home. It was signed by someone named George Parrot, does anyone know who he was or his capacity in the Hurst Corp ? ------- Thanks, Danny

I didn't know the original intent for this car was for it to be competitive. Thanx for that info Bowtiefroggie

First time I've seen a crossram on a wheelstander. Prolly didn't run well with carbs at a 45* angle alot of the time. Thus the Hillbornes

Are those grills 66?

Wink Re: Hurst Performance

Yep,, That is the '66 grille shown. I remember the October '65 Car Craft magazine cover had a multi shot sequence of the '65 car in action.
