"Chutes and Ladders"
I just read a very good Tech Section in a magazine called Drag Racing Action called "Chutes and Ladders. Considering the mind set of most on this site I am amazed that no one has commented on the opening part of this Tech Section. "In years past, drag racing was always relegated to the winner being the one who got to the finish line first. Then came bracket racing and the skill to win required more than just a fast car.
The Stock and Superstock categories were always based on more than just a fast car. Indexes and dial-ins became apart of the class to where today...and I mean this in no derogatory manner... they're not much more than a bracket race albeit with some very expensive equipment." This is the first time I have read this magazine and it is a very good one, but when I read this I just knew there would be some comments. |
