I am looking for rear wheel backspacing, how wide of a rear wheel, drag radials? and size, The car will be going for new quarters and inner rear fenders soon, is there anything I need to let the body man know about the lips? If anyone can help, it would be great! I will keep you updated. Thank you!

Rules allow for minor modifications. I'm sure you will want to trim the leading edge and I would trim and roll the lip so that if the tires do rub they will not catch a sharp edge ,same on the inner fenders , avoid sharp edges . 8 or 10 " wheels 30 x 9" tires ,not sure of the backspace .---Trevor

Nick ,

Glad to see you finally jumping in , listen to James & Billy they will save you time & money ... Most of all build a NHRA stocker, so you aren't limited where you can run...

So I guess there is some issue with Cricket and Curling now.... WOW !!
The nice thing is there is a community of non-couch potato people are out there doing it.
(Dan Quayle notice the correctly spelled word POTATO)

Hey Guys:
I am not a sideliner and trying to better OUR sport where it needs some support.
General Patton said and clearly: Lead, Follow or get the Hell out of the way.

FWIW I think adding imports is a good idea. Toyota is already an America car...(and NASCAR Sponsor)
James please do contact Mike Baker and see if he can get it classified for Stock/Pure Stock.
Bet you Sifu Billy Nees can make that car competitive overnight.

What is really sad is NHRA and IHRA not classifying any of the new US Cars and Trucks into Stock and Super Stock.
So any push from the racing membership would helpful... !!!!!!!!!!!!.....
Instead of being a bunch of grumpy old men sideline whiners!!

Dan
