Most of what I have is already floating around the net. Like the picture of my Ramcharger hauling the dart. I'd have to do some digging to see what I have.
Thanks

The car I owned was the dark blue 4 speed THT dart. When I got it, it was pretty hacked up and the 68 rear was cut off and 70/72 rear added then cut off and the 68 put back on. Inner fenders were gone, fire wall partially gone, trans tunnel partially gone. Fortunately when I bought it in '89 a lot of the hard to find stuff was with it. Original doors, front bumper, front fenders, seats, bases. I built a as close to accurate hemi motor and slick shifted 4 speed as I could. NOTICE: the breathers, plug wires, tach, coil/ignition, shifter, lock out and a ton of other stuff not shown. I sold it and it went to Switzerland in 1998 or 99. I can't remember.

GREAT, first hand history lesson.

Thank you.

If you have read through this topic you have seen there is fact, speculation, old memories and pictures.

First hand knowledge and previous owners/crew stories are the best.

Add more if you choose.

Anything you can contribute will be greatly appreciated.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome here dc426 & hemiman4262003.

When I was looking for an original Hurst car back in the 80's I remember seeing a 4 sale ad in Florida (I believe) for the THT stick Dart. I passed on that one because it had been cut too much for my liking at the time ( doors, inner fenders, & the firewall). thanx for sharing the first hand info on that car. I've wondered for many years whatr became of that car

This was not an original LO car to my knowledge. Dick only owned 2 original Hurst Darts. Both have been accounted for. I can't speak for the auto car, but I know first hand the stick car was never converted to a 70, because I used to own it.

Anyone have some info on this 70, as it's history has puzzled me for a long time. Dick told me it was one of his 68 LO's, but, he also told me he converted the stick car.
