Daryl,
I just pm'd a guy on another site that is posting tons of drag racing photos, and asked him if he has any pics of the "Manhatten Speed Parts" Dart. He said he has thousands of pics. Lets see where that goes.
Like other Hemi Darts, I learned that the "MISTER ED" Dart, after being run in SS/B, ran in SS/A, then ran as a '69 in Pro Stock, then A/MP, and finally back to SS. M&M Speed and Custom, who sponsored it, bought the owner a tunnel ram w/two 1050 Dominators and a new roller cam one Christmas!
I've attached a pic of the 2010 Dover Drag Strip Reunion T-Shirt.

And what site might that be?

Btw, I forgot about the New York National Speedway Facebook page:

Not much activity there but it doesn't hurt to try.

Perhaps with one that had Charlie Castaldo's name lettered on it which you saw in your dad's shop when he owned it?

The HAMB has a few threads on drag racing, the one I've been going through "History of Drag Cars in Motion" is 1788 pages so far.....

Funny you mentioned that. I had to see for myself. Spent the better part of last evening accessing that side of the car so I could look at the inside of that door. Yes there's some damage that's been repaired in the area, but, it's really hard to trace the repair because the damage in the picture doesn't have any heavy creases like the quarter does. And with these thin, & I mean Coke can thin doors( I'm sure the bodywork/paint is thicker), it would be very easy to roll out that damage, leaving very little "reworking" marks behind. I don't think there is an original LO23 or BO29 car out there today that hasn't had some "rework" that had to be done to these doors. So,-----Result, inconclusive!!!
Since I got access to the car I fiqured I'd take some pictures of the damage on the quarter for the whole world to see. Can't believe I'm doing this . Most guys would be hiding that, but, noooo, not me. I need everyone to see it. I believe it's this cars particular "trademark"

Right quarter panel
