Default Re: Tire Wrap Up

Hi Guys, We ran the car last night. We tried 7 psi, 7 1/2 psi and 8 psi in the tires. I think the 7 1/2 may have worked the best , we showed a small improvement but come night time we started to lose reaction time and the car also got loose coming of the stop. Car spins the tire at the hit and then takes off. Looking at the video the tires are not wrinkling as much . Will try some higher pressures when we get a chance. We did have a different 4 link setting in the car . Has anyone ever set there 4 link real short like 40" or shorter ?. This car seems to like a shorter 4 link setting. Is it important to have the intersection point on the antisquat line or not ?. car weight 2450 with approx 52 1/2 percent on rear.
Thanks Patrick.

How do you have it set up now? 40" is very short. Usually a bar that short will hit the tire hard, but not keep it planted. If your in that range now, that may be a lot of your problem. Wheel base? Crank centerline? All that makes a differance.
