Nice find Paul. too bad there's no car ID numbers attached to that deposit slip. I quess at the time of purchase Feb11/68, there was no specific car assigned to this sale. First run of cars had a manufacturing date of Feb. 18/68

Daryl,

Lawrence 'Larry' Wilber
Toledo, Ohio

According to extensive digging. It looked like Jim Thorton
{Manager of Race Vehicle Design} and member of the
Ramchargers helped buddy Larry Wilber secure an
early-deal on his LO23.

I believe that Jim Thorton was from Perrysburg, Ohio.

So, who is Larry Wilbur. Never heard of before. Anyone have pics of this car?

Since there is no information on the dealership, or whether my car was picked up in Detroit, it sure would help the cause to know where it came from huh? We know it didn't come from any of the New York area, since Paul has accounted for all those, so, we gotta start heading west maybe.

In the background of the Raybourne photo is Jim Isherwood's SS/DA Satellite (orig Hemi car) and it looks like the corner of MIke Booker's SS/BA Belvedere Hemi car. Photo is at Mission, probably around 10 years ago.
