I have aluminum tread plate on the floor in my trailer. It is probably the best material that you can put down that will last. My trailer is 20 years old and other than a few dents the floor is in excellent condition. I don't find it slippery at all. The inside of the back door is also the same material. On a 24 ft trailer you would only need 6 sheets to cover the floor. I have found some good deals on that type of material on craigs list.
any sort of vinyl tile or flooring will not hold up. There are some rubber type tiles that would but the cost would probably be as much as the tread plate.
