i believe they put on decals after elims started
from nhraracer.net "After review, it has been verified by NHRA that one of the winners from the NHRA Kansas Nationals placed contingency decals on their vehicle after the first round of eliminations began and prior to the final round of competition. This action violates Section 1.11 CONTINGENCY AWARDS of the 2015 NHRA Rulebook which states, “Decals placed on vehicles once eliminations have begun will not be granted verification”. As a result of this infraction these decals have not been granted verification by NHRA and contingency payment from the sponsors claimed may be denied. Future violations may result in further action and additional penalties. " |

after putting on contingency decals as required LONG BEFORE ELIMINATIONS STARTED and being runner up and winning several times there was a VIOLATION by NHRA to quickly pay contingency monies due to MANY competitors----- what is their recourse ??? Just saying
