During our first outing we learned several good pieces of information.
First; we have a very good basic package. Runs straight, handles smoothly, straight down Broadway from the very first pass. Everything about the package performed as expected and planned. Second; the Super 10 is about 165 pounds too heavy. Right away we began brain storming about weight removal ideas. At this time we plan to remove about 80 - 90 pounds before the next D 4 Lucas Race. Then over time, will whittle away more. For now, I am OK with it being about 80 pounds or so overweight. The "B" index is 10.85 and we expect it to run easy 10.30 - 10.25 so I am good with that. In addition, to my knowledge, there is not another GT/TB truck in D 4 so no problem with heads up runs. Third; we learned the 327 combination likes RPM. Each time we let it have it's head it picked up. With good air and good track it will perform very well ![]() Stand by for more updates and weight removal news. |
