The spacing between your brake and gas pedals seems huge compared to my Mustang. Is that stock? My truck's a stick so I don't have a reference point. Wife drives a - gasp - Subaru...
Love the full bumper. Dale

Dale,
You may recall in earlier post I talked about driver comfort. The brake pedal position is part of the comfort. The pedal has been reformed to a more natural left foot position. It is in about the same position as the clutch pedal would be.

We are whittling away at our get ready list for next week's Lucas D 4 race at Thunder Road Raceway near Shreveport LA.
Also, we have a new addition to our support equipment. I found a 30' class A motor home with low miles and in overall good condition. It needs some minor repairs and the usual maintenance items. The critical things will be completed in time for next weeks outing. The extra room and comfort is a welcome upgrade from our cramped living quarters goose neck.

Team Woodfin had a good outing at the Thunder Road D 4 Lucas race.
We ran .420 under first round which I think with limited data and limited runs is a good number. We have a total of 9 runs on the truck including todays final. Due to our work schedules we only got one run Friday. The first round contest was between me and Ed Wright. It was a good tight race, double break out, with me going under more than Ed. Photos and other updates soon.

The Super 10, winding down the series.
Since the heading of this section is " under construction" the Super 10 no longer fits the subject matter. On the first page about a year ago I stated the project posting would go all the way to racing super stock at a Lucas event. That goal was accomplished Sept 19 & 20 at Thunder Road Raceway near Shreveport La. It was a team effort that allowed the accomplishment and I am personally grateful for the excellent help. If you have question about any section of the build I will answer your questions. Other than that, I do not plan to continue the series with the exception of an occasional update.
