We ate at an Outback last night in honor of Mark Nowicki. We all had a great meal but none of us had salmon. It's the thought that counts.
The coffee pot was laid to rest in an unmarked burial mound along side tons of other imported crap that has a very short service life. When will we wake up and smell the coffee? Today is going to be a relaxing day: check all 16 tires for air pressure, check fluid levels, new plugs and wires for the Saturn, weigh the car and adjust weight, add class and numbers, fix XM antenna, do some cleaning, watch NASCAR, cook some food on the grill, consume some adult beverages. Well that is it for my pictures in the Grand Canyon! Alice and Pam both took a lot also, so we may get more of theirs posted later today. We are taking the day off today to rest up (you know how it is to get old) and get reorganized.
If you have never seen the Grand Canyon, you must put it on your Bucket List! You can't believe it til you see it and the pictures just do not do it justice! We have 3 or so more weeks of this trip, but I am sure the pictures will be boring compared to these! Just pictures of race cars!! More later! |

If weather cooperates be sure to swing through Moab on the way back from Pomona. Arches and Canyonlands National Parks are fantastic. Agree with Don about Zion and Bryce but it takes 3-4 months to do all the western parks justice and know those granddaughters will be lobbying for you to get back quick.

Those Utah parks are at high elevation and can be quite cold overnight in November. Although, a light dusting of snow over Bryce Canyon is something you'll never see anywhere else. Thank you, Larry and company. Good luck with the FWD.There's an expert coming your way, and it sure ain't me. See you soon.
