Thanks Rich, I did have a blast. I can't wait until the spring. With the new motor we should be hanging the hoops and mid to low 10's.

Life got in the way in the past year and half, but we finally got the car out again last weekend at Milan for the sunday bracket program. The combo since we finished the car was unchanged. We ran 12.23-12.31 over the 4 runs. My lights got better too, .197 off the trailer, then .022, .077 and -.009. Broke out first round and buyback redlight 2nd round. I am getting more comfortable behind the wheel and just need more seat time. We are planning on hitting the no-box race at US131 Aug 4-5 for our next outing.

Funny coincidence, Mike Delahanty was right behind in us in the lanes for round 1. Heck of a nice guy. I didn't know he and my Dad (Terry Friar) have known each other since the 70's.

I am from west michigan and would love to see your car run at the strip. Do you plan on racing 1/8 mile at the newly reopened Onondaga Dragway south of Lansing?
They are just racing test and tune right now but plan on expanding in the spring of 2018.

I need a reason to see the track and talk to the owner about sponsoring an 8 second flat
heads-up class. That is roughly mid-12's in the quarter mile. Call my cell phone 231-740-5534 when you are going to race your car again. Good job on that project!

Hey Fred. Thanks for the kind words. I will hit you up next time we are over on your side of the state. No plans as of yet to run at Onandaga. We are building a new motor that should put us in the 10's in the 1/4. #8 cylinder in the old motor was going away this past summer. Current plans for this summer are to run Open Comp at the first Friday of the month at Milan (May-Oct) US131 or Mid Michigan for 'Pro' bracket stuff, and maybe the No-Box Bonanza at Norwalk first weekend in June.
