I did my own paint so I feel for you. It worked out OK for me. As for body work, go with Evercoat instead of Bondo. It's very easy to work with.

So true, my brother and myself are kind of learning as we go, but we have a general idea. Were still going to run every single contingency sticker we can use, haha!! But you guys are correct, we will have a lot of time and sore muscles invested in this car.
