Well, I made it down to Beech Bend for the combo on Saturday. I thought I put out an update. I also posted the qualifying sheets.

This is one impressive build.
Build a new car yourself, set up the 4 link, shocks, clutch, launch rpm, tires, gearing and everything to run a stick car and go .86 under on the first few hits! No simple task.

Thanks Jim, I appreciate that. I try to do it all myself. Of course I can't, but my son David is a big help, as well as David Tincher especially in the later stages of the build.

I was only there on Saturday, Kevin and I tried to get around to see as many friends as possible, and I helped Jimmy Bridges a little. We didn't get to see nearly as many people as we hoped.
